Anybody have any news at all on our projects? Why is our athletic department flying so far under the radar this year. I mean we haven't heard shite about shite. There's essentially no buzz at all.

I was in Oxford for the first time in a few months a few weeks ago. Was going to take my usual route through campus that went between the football stadium and Tad Pad. That was a mistake.

All-American Drive is closing tomorrow. Between the pharmacy school construction, chemistry building renovation, and the arena/parking garage construction, there is a ton of work taking place on that stretch of campus.

Supposedly, football stadium renovations will start as soon as the 2014 season is over.

When is the pharmacy school constructions supposed to be done? Seemed like they had made some serious progress last time I was by there.

I'll probably just walk from my parents home and they live in College Hill. Lol (not really walking that far but you get my drift)

Oxford REALLY needs another highway. Everything is growing except for the actual roads. What good is a stadium that seats 70k in a town that only supports 20k.

We always come in from Molly Barr. It's never been that busy.

Same... we parked at the lot next to the Post Office and rode the bus from there. It was a breeze getting in and out after games.

This may be a stupid question, but is the intention for building the parking garage based solely for football games or will it serve another purpose on a regular basis?

By next spring I believe. The exterior will probably be done before then.

The parking garage will be used everyday. We do not have enough parking to support the number of commuters.

And honestly, the parking garage still won't be enough. We'll need at least one more of them to really cut down on parking problems. They should build one in the lot behind Kinard and Kincannon.
