Has anyone in the administration mentioned a time frame when it might be possible to relocate the Fed Ex athletic educational Center from the NEZ? I was told it would be at least 10 years, so around 2026.
That's what I would anticipate as well. Video boards are good for 8-10 years before its time to upgrade. I doubt we do anything to the NEZ until it's time to upgrade our new video board we are getting. I just hope we have fixed the East and West sides by that time.

Have they started on the other 2 video boards yet?

I hope the turf on the outside that they install is the same shade as the real field grass... Or that will look bad. If they wanted to keep some turf just keep it blue like before

Those aluminum stands will be loud AF when it's full of students

I think it will be blue again

It's blue turf on the sidelines green turf in the endzones.

Surely they won't be aluminum...

I don't think there is time to pour concrete at this point.

Any chance they had forms off sight and already have the concrete poured?

That's what I was thinking. The bottom section looks like concrete and it was the same metal a week or two ago..

Field level fence for standing room like Bryant Denny would be sweet.

It doesn't look like the arches of the jumbotron will be visible from inside the stadium. I think it will look better than the renderings. The jumbotron looks a little awkward in the renderings.

Yeah the solid wall instead of the arches will look a lot better (assuming they don't put the arches)

I'm ready to see what the other two screens look like. The two different renderings that I saw had differently shaped video boards (one squarish and the other more rectangular).

@OleMissPix just did a walk-through of the stadium construction LINK

I hope they are using pre-cast concrete for a project of this size

so will there be concrete beneath the North Endzone/ Student section..
or will it be another open lost purse, jacket, keys, drinks Pit?
theyve got to seal that right?
The stomping would be loud as hell on all metal seating , Though concrete there would provide some sound dampening i believe.
Definitely need some kind of foot stomp tradition if in theory it will be loud as hell.

Need to shave the concrete down where the new north section meets the sidelines. I don't see how people that are sitting close to it can see over that wall.

Yeah I would think they'd pour concrete under the NEZ seats. The concrete used for the seating sections seems to be precast tho.
