It's the same video board structure that we had before. They are just extending the board to the edges instead of the ad space that was there before.

He didn't lie. He said it would encompass the entire structure as in the structure of the existing video board.

Maybe y'all know more than me, but I don't see why it wouldn't be ready for the season.

I've got a buddy who is an electrician for the project. The winter/spring rains put them way behind schedule. At one point they had to use a crane to pull another crane out of a pond of rainwater. I think they'll be done in time for the home opener, though.

Maybe it's just me but the scoreboard arches going into the top of the NEZ is going to look weird

Also view from my new seats

So we finally get decent looking renderings a third through the project, sigh.

The arches do look weird, but overall that looks really good. Especially the aerial shot.

Does anyone know if you will continue to be able to walk around the whole stadium regardless of where your seats are? I know some schools block off the student section from the season ticket holders, etc. I have regular tickets just curious for when a big group of friends come into town and we want to sit together. We've all just sat in the student section in previous years.

Yeah, part of the problem is that the original renderings looked bad. Those are much better and more accurate.

Sore subject... I miss being able to walk the top of the sez and see the game from anywhere. That was a really cool aspect of the stadium. Money wins over the little things like that though.

I don't think they've said anything on it though I really hope they don't block it off.

I would imagine that the concession vendors would want the student section connected with the rest of the stadium. Barbecue nachos are a great way to keep things going, after all.

Wish they would have gone a little bigger on those side monitors, but overall looks good.

Pretty sure that area was already blocked off to where you couldn't see anything last year.
