With the renovations I've heard they might have shuffled some things around, like designated visiting fans sections for instance.

Yeah -- I just heard that they're relocating the student section to the north side. A few concerns: going to be staring in the sun, no upper deck shade, further from concessions, restrooms.

So are the new suites above the student section not going to be open next year?

With them getting rid of the top part of the SEZ students will be no closer to concessions/restrooms than they were in the NEZ.

The students move to the north when the expansion is complete in 2016. There will be more bathrooms there than in the SEZ, also a much closer walk. The sun is the downside but frick you guys now that I have to pay almost $2000 for a ticket, melt away.

Would have hated this as a student.. Don't mind as alumni.

Students bust out those hats and costa deal mar / oakleys

Girls can wear sun hats.. Start a new Oxford tradition lol

Why in the world did they spread out the visitors all over the stadium? I hope that we have plans beyond this. We need every game to be a sellout.

Don't know; but does the SEC dictate some of this? I'm pretty sure they have something to do with numbers of tickets for visitors, but location?

Wow that section for the band is awful. That's the worst place they have put them since they were in the north endzone back in 2001.

Seems to me like they're putting the band there to keep the students away from the visitor sections. But I don't know why they don't just move the visitors to a completely different section away from the students and then put the band in the top middle of the student section like they are now.

I kinda liked the students close to where the players come in from, with the locked rock they do.

Now the players will see it coming out of the tunnel. I think the effect will be cool. Plus students won't have to walk around the stadium.
