Been a long time since I was this upset over a loss. This was the wrong weekend to do it too.

You don't. Playcalling has been terrible the last couple games. Can't be scared to get aggressive. I don't want see this shite week after week. Reminds me of the Ed Orgeron days and that's not what I want.

Yeah, this is the worst I've felt in some time. I really hope the team as a whole doesn't feel as I do, because we won't go to a bowl game if we do.

Am I the only one who wasnt shocked? My dad and I watch every game together and when we got the ball up 3 with 6-7 min left I looked at him and said we would lose if we dont score a TD on this drive and I am not at all happy about being right. On the drive home he looked at me and said in his 46 years of going to OM games, there really havent been many suprises..... WAOM

I knew Jeff Scott running every MFing play out of bounds when we should have been trying to milk the clock. Instead of our last FG drive needing a touchdown we could have just been getting first and killing the clock.

I don't know....but this suckage has to end at some point or another. I really want to know what Hugh's explanation is on tonight. Maybe Bjork will light a fire back under his arse.....so we can have some well coached games like the first half of the season. Stop getting complacent the last half of the season since you overcame expectations.

I felt like ok out last set of downs when we needed for sure yardage for the kick we should have ran that quick seam route.

We have run that play a few times a game and its ALWAYS open. I was screaming at my tv for it.

Somehow I think I am still jaded from last season. The loss hurt, but I was able to watch it without throwing anything. What I saw last night was a very tired team. We are thin on talent and very, very worn out. I suspect the conservative play calling is a response to fatigue that is overtaking the team. I think the team is completely out of gas and the Arkansas win may have been our last of the season. I have been a Rebel far too long to expect anything more =/

Agree play calling seemed really conservative when we had the big lead, but at some point the players have got to make plays. If you can't punch it in from the 5 or the 7 yard line in 4 downs that's on the players as well. I agree that better play calls would've given them a better chance, but come on you're so close.

The only silver lining to this is that we're much closer to having a good team than I thought. If we go get a solid recruiting class play calling wont matter quite as much because we'll have the players to run whatever we want and still be more successful.

Just think if that safety would have been called on that kickoff last night. That would have helped a ton huh? How in the hell did they not call that a safety???

I'm honestly convinced that the refs have it out for us.

That was the same ref crew we had for A&M and I think Georgia in 2006 (the mysterious hold on the blocked punt)

Vandy was a pretty good defense. Until we can get a bigger back to run between the tackles we are going to struggle in the red zone. 400 yards of our 450 were through the air. It's harder to throw in the red zone when the end zone becomes a defender. Just another issue of lack of talent.

I agree we need bigger backs to run the ball. We will come around it will take a little time. Look at this year and last year

I'm choosing to put Freezes play calling shenanigans into the "don't have all the pieces in place to call the game he WANTS to call" bin, for now.

Wallace is too inconsistent, he's been banged up for the last 4 weeks and he does not make the best reads. Bo looked good in the 1st 4 games because our receivers MADE him look good against shitty competition (yes, UTx's pass defense blows). Freeze simply cannot turn him lose because he fumbles and throws INT's when he's trying too hard.

Not to mention, we still have alot of depth and talent issues in the secondary.

I'm of the opinion that once Freeze gets all of "his" players on campus, from the lines to the skill players, we will be trouble for the rest of the league.

Think of it this way, replace Bro Wall with a MORE mobile, more accurate, better decision maker.

Add a big, fast back who can catch AND run between the tackles for 4 or 5 a carry.

Add MORE mobile, faster OL.

Add bigger, better DL.

Add bigger, faster, better Secondary.

Chances are, those players would have been able to execute Freezes play calls (conservative or not) much better. And if the offense happens to step on their dick too often, that bigger, faster, better defense can actually be counted on to get a stop or 2.

I'm pissed off about losing to Vandy A frickING GAIN as well. And, barring a miracle, we are going to lose the next two as well. That's just where we are. We have GOT to give HF 4 years minimum to get his shite organized. This team is built completely opposite for the stuff he wants to run, both offense and defense. We have got to give the man time.

We need 4 years of good/great recruiting and then see where we are.

My thoughts as well, he made some really bad reads in the run game. Also no one has talked about how mediocre are punt game has become. My buddy who has not picked up a football in 4 years with a broken back could punt the ball 35 yards.

Safety that didn't get called

This and the pass interference on the deep ball to Ja-mes that was over turned and ruled uncatchable. Even though the replay clearly showed it hit Ja-mes' stretched out hand.

And I honestly believe we have talent on this team but it is inexperienced talent. We are playing WAY too many freshman and sophomores. I still think the future is bright but doesn't changed how much that game and A&M game hurt. I'm goijngt to be very disappointed if we don't go to a bowl, which is somewhat awesome considering my low expectations for this year.

Hotty fricking Toddy! Let's just take down LSU and get Thanksgiving Break started off right!
