This guy:

Old Roommate

I'm writing to say that this was my roommate at MSU. He's one of my facebook friends and sometimes we'll have two-day long debates concerning Ole Miss-MSU supremacy. As you may have guessed, he's a complete homer and it takes something monumental for him to even give the slightest of credit to us. His sister has adequately described him as "stubborn and obnoxious" but I'll say that he's a good friend even though he is a legit hate monger for us Rebels.

And even though I wouldn't do this stunt in Starkville next weekend, I can't help but applaud the testicular fortitude.

I wish- strangely, I've been called 'Faulkner' before on this site.

Ask him why he didn't go to the state game, and post his direct quote here. He was too flustered to give a legitimate response on saturday.

And may I ask where he's from? Would it have been a longer drive for him to go to Oxford or Starkville?

I'm so glad you replied. I don't feel at liberty to fully reply but it would have been a shorter drive or him to go to the game in Starkville. There's extenuating circumstances as to why he did not.

But know that he is a good guy and that he means no harm, other than smack talk. Trust me, i've heard the very best he has to dish out.

I was certainly rude to the guy, but I used well thought out statements and asked him legitimate questions, no profanity. He was getting dog cussed from others though.

I won't further insult him as he's your friend, but he should probably think about getting his priorities straight.

Don't get me wrong man- he split the hairs between bravery and stupidity there. Yea, I'm not going to Starkville with a "Bo for Heisman" sign.

If you ever got to know him, though, you'd find he's a strangely amusing friend to have, although a mediocre debater.

This is great. Thanks for the background story (sort of) on this guy.

His punishment for such an act of stupidity should be he has to walk through the Grove next time with a sign that says,"IT'S HARD TO BE HUMBLE WHEN YOU'RE FROM MISSISSIPPI!"
