- Gates, DJ Jones, and Speaks need to be playing more. There is a huge drop off in th LB play from last year to this year. I think CJ needs to start at DE and they bring in Haynes on third down again. Jones played his best game, by far, tonight and is finally adjusting to the speed of thE SEC.
- Either move Hilton down to the Husky, and start Hampton at safety or have Tee play the Husky because Moore looked atrocious in coverage and tackling.
- Matt Luke has to go. No more excuses. He's had what, 3-4 years?? We look lost on the O-line. And I don't want to hear that crap about well, all our guys are hurt. 4 freaking years! That's what depth is for! Other teams have it. It's time for a change. And the schemes are just terrible! He may be a nice guy and part of the ole miss network but he has to go.
- We bring it up every week but the goal line offense is absolutely atrocious. Get your playmakers the ball, run WR pick plays/screens, bring in a jumbo package. Just do something different! At some point you have to question Freeze as the OC. I think the team would benefit with a new OC and Freeze overseeing the whole thing, he'll still recruit at a high level
- Lastly, at the end of the day this is one game. We have a tie-breaker with Bama and odds are we get Tunsil back (hopefully) by the A&M game. We need to regroup and throw this one in the trash. We have too much talent to play this poorly and I think we will respond.

Good stuff. Hard to argue with any of it. But isn't it almost hard to fathom we are sitting here talking about hoping to get Tunsil back by the the A&M game. That would be a 7-game suspension. Unbelieveable.

Honestly you didn't even have to run anything special. They had Treadwell lined up several times 1vs1 inside the redzone and we ran dives or shite.

They put VH3 on Core. No reason you don't take advantage and feed Quon.

I said it last week, everything in this offense is vertical except the running game. I don't understand why we never run any drags. Ever. Like Never.

No shite! He's had 4 years to develop his own guys and add depth and he hasn't done it. Has the O-Line improved since he's been here? No. End of story. He's the fall guy for a reason.

Slants? Pick plays? More RB sweeps?

Nope let's run it up the middle.

At least we dropped the stupid screen pass we ran every single 3rd and 10 last year.

We actually didn't run the screen much last year. It was two years ago. This year I think it would actually be a good idea to run it though I'm not sure we have the blockers we need anymore.

And run it up the middle with a 170 lb running back at that. Oh, and run our screen's to our 220lb running back. Makes sense.

It would definitely help supplement the run game.

I just hate that play. I know it's for teams with a weak offensive line but teams see through that shite quick and blow it up.

This prevent defense we run is horrible as well. Playing 15 yards off the line on a 3rd and 5 is stupid.

Well, it's that or run it up the gut with Walton for no gain or a 1-yarder...

Agreed. I'm not really sure what's up with that.

Or, we run a route besides verticals and utilize Engram. He's caught, what, 5 passes this year?

It's baffling. Between that and taking the starting defensive line out was insane.

We ran the prevent against Bama late and they came back. We ran it against Vandy and probably should have lost. We ran it tonight and got destroyed.

Another crazy stat I heard today regarding Laquon: he has been targeted 6 times inside the 10-yard-line in the last three seasons, which is 75th in the nation, and 29 times inside the redzone in the 26+ games that he's played. Wow.

Yeah, I'm not understanding why Engram isn't part of our passing attack. Seems like every other teams TE's are killing us but our own All-SEC guy barely see's the ball.

Honestly Laquon has been so underutilized due to Bo and play calling that it should someone should be prosecuted for it.

I mean I get it, use him as a decoy, but my god throw to him when he's matched against a 5'6" DB and no safety over the top.
