What's the deal? Just the "rumors" about sanctions?

Did we inherit an Arab-Polynesian recruiting pipeline from Batoon?

Nothing to inherit. There was never one established. Nutt was a better Polynesian recruiter getting Masoli.

Pretty depressing looking at the 247 rankings knowing we should have definitely had two top 10 players, including the number 1 player. Even worse when you consider the fact our "insiders" thought Trey Smith was a sure thing as well. 3 top 10 prospects added to the current roster and keeping Willie Gay would have had me talking SEC championship in 2018, now we'll be lucky to not finish last in the west. Bjork better get this shite with the NCAA figured out or he's going to find that fundraising job a lot more difficult.

We should sue the everloving hell out of the NCAA and then use the money to buy more croots.

That's a stretch. Even if you take Akers as a given, OM faced really tough competition for Little, Smith was a done deal to Tenn when they hired his sister and Gay has seemed more concerned with our lack of developing LBs than the investigation.

It's tempting to say "if not for the NCAA we would have had him" every time OM comes up short on a recruit. But we've aimed high on a lot of recruits and lost more than we've gotten, even before the investigation heated up.

But, yes, the NCAA stuff has taken a toll and it is depressing.

How do we lose a legacy to Indiana? Know Heard is there but damn, that is terrible. Receiver is a deep position for us so it's not that big of a deal but still hate to lose a MS kid to Indiana.

Recruiting is about relationships. His dad and Heard played together. I'm sure that's where his trust is. He didn't really have many offers anyway and probably would have wound up some other place other than WR.

He wanted to play WR and I have been lead to believe that we wanted him as a DB. May be the same situation Cam White from Clinton.
