Have any of you heard the conspiracy theory that the reason we aren't playing Shea is because his dad wants to protect his eligibility? It boggles my mind how people legitimately think something like that instead of the blatantly obvious.

Haha my brother said something about this to me yesterday and I was like... who TF did you hear this from? He said that's what his State fan buds were saying

So I pranced over to where I had a good feeling this started from and wouldn't ya know, many posts related to

"Shea sighting?" "Nope, it's so obvious he's transferring I can't believe those stupid racists don't see it" "Buckys cheating is finally going to cost him everything and he's gonna be stuck with that goofy looking QB"

Quite a marvelous read if you ask me

Us not playing him hurts his eligibility. If he played he could get work in this year and RS his transfer year. Him not playing means he misses two years instead of one. Got to love when those ED wheels turns

Hahait is funny after the wooford game someone I know really well knows his dad and said he wishes shea would have gotten some reps so idk what's going on in all honesty.

If he played this year and had 40 pass attempts it wouldn't mean shite. Unless he would get in to throw 100+ passes this year it would be a waste. The kid is learning from a stud QB and will have 4 years at Ole Miss to do with what he wants.

With miles being fired does this open up to us possibly getting Brennan and chase Rogers now as a combo deal?

Who knows, it will likely depend on who LSU hires. I wonder if Hermann will take the position. He is the only guy that really scares me. With that talent and his coaching they would rival Bama.

Herman and Kiffin are the ones I don't want them to get.
And I especially don't want coach Kiffin joining his brother.

Other possibilities

Fisher pff not impressed even with tons of talent
Kelly lol withND he can't get it right
Mullen... If he had recruiting built in like LSU already does.. He can coach

Call Jimbo again... Make him tell you no... Then contact Herman... If that doesn't work out Plan C would be either Petrino or Briles maybe ?

Petrino has a 10 mil buyout. With Briles stuff being so recent I don't see that happening. If it's not fisher or herman I think you may hear names like shaw, gundy, mullen... But I'm just throwing darts, no telling with lspoo.

Herman is going to go to USC at the rate they are losing.

Jimbo no
Petrino no
Briles no

LSU is about to frick this up and hire Kliff Kingsberry or Fedora. Ed O will make scene on the way out and become the DC at UTSA for Frank Wilson.

I feel like we are losing ground with cj avery. I was glad to read s. Charles enjoyed his visit and was really impressed. He would be a great guard for us. Him along with little or smith would be huge for this class.

If we land Saahdiq and Little that's all we need two elite OL and a rebel legacy and great guard Ben brown

With TN not going off the rails and Trey's sister being on the staff I don't see it.
Trey smiths will be here for the Memphis game this weekend, though

Got a little insight amongst the in-state recruits. The top tier kids in the state all keep in touch and there is only one uncommitted of them that is considering State. All the rest are ragging the Hell out of him for even considering them.

As long as we hold on to willie Gay, he would be in the rotation next year. Maybe even this year if he was eligible

I will say Pennamon is picking things up pretty fast. I always look at pass pro not the running so much. In the UGA game, I saw him pick up a couple blitz that were timed well.
