Not surprising. Until an elite linebacker is enrolled in school and wearing an Ole Miss jersey on the field during a game, I am going to assume our linebackers will continue to be Division II quality players getting Division III quality coaching.

Have to somehow hold on to Gay and Clarke. Gay is qouted as saying Michigan was his #1. I've heard after the Dylan Moses commit LSU is going to take a closer look at Clarke. Akers is a wild card imo. Nobody really has a feel for where he is leaning. Heard the ncaa saga is a concern for him. Doesn't look like a good recruiting year. But you never know what kinda rabbit Freeze may pull out of his hat after the season. Akers and Avery are 2 ms guys I know are early enrollees so we should be on them pretty heavy right now.

Hey rebel fans maybe you guys should throw a lot of money at state's linebacker coach. They always have quality LBs and will probably have the best linebacker duo in the country in two years with Leo and Willie. not that I care #RollTide
