McArthur is supposed to be really good. Dude is 6'7". Would not surprise me if he or Pagnozzi make a few midweek starts.

He's not a Hawtin Buchanan, is he? Buchanan's size alone got him drafted. I think he pitched more his freshman year than his sophomore and junior years combined.

Week and a half. Can't wait.

Really interested to see how our midweek starters shake out.

I hope this is one of those years when Bianco has a team that is supposed to do nothing and they end up being pretty good.

For those of us that have not been able to attend any practices/scrimmages, any freshmen/transfers that we should keep an eye on?

I hope Brady has made a jump, or he could get torched as a Friday starter

Heard our pitching should be much better this season. Also have 5-6 guys who can hit the mid 90s when we only had 3-4 last year.

Edit: Just saw this on twitter

Right field is already slammed with tents, chairs, and locked chains. Should be a great weekend. The weather should comply nicely as well.

I think this team will be sneaky good. If these inexperienced pitchers can come in and get acclimated quickly, then we have a pretty damn good team with the offense we should have. I expect our hitting to be much better than last year. This is Clement's 2nd year so his philosophies are familiar. I think Woodman and Blackman have big years. Bortles will be steady and hit some bombs along the way. Errol is a top level SS. He's a stud. Our defense also should be pretty good. Fast athletics OF. I know I'm forgetting people but that's an experienced core that has played a lot of baseball together.

Overall I think this team certainly has the potential to host a regional and maybe even a national seed if the arms turn out to be good. JMO so take it for what it's worth. Regardless of how good they are I'll be there rootin em on and drinkin a beer at Swayze.

I just want to see us consistently put the ball in play with a runner at 3rd base and less than 2 outs ... Do yourself a favor and get the National Seed thoughts out of your head.

I know it's a stretch. But we do have some talented hitters if they can put it together. Like someone said before Bianco does best with no expectations. I really think this team will surprise.

If our pitchers can handle the SEC hitters, I think we're fine.
