Does, No Country For Old Men,count as a western?

That movie was pretty good.

I think True Grit is the only western I've ever seen that I can recall. It was aight.

Sure there is. Sergio Leone himself made better Westerns than that one, IMO. I'd consider For a Few Dollars More and Once Upon a Time in the West to be both superior.

Nothings too good for the man who shot Liberty Valance Scene

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin...one of the best Western stories ever.

There is no way for me to narrow it down to just one.

John Wayne has about 20.
Clint Eastwood has a bunch.
Even with those considered I would still entertain about 5-10 more.

I always liked this one. the remake should be interesting


When I was growing up, we didnt have cable(by choice). just the 4 networks and pbs. Every weekend fox pretty much played westerns all day, every day. I loved them all
