Goldeneye on N64 is the greatest game ever after Mario Kart

SNES had the greatest games and advanced graphics at the time in my honest opinion.
It was after my time as a teenager but in retrospect I'd take none other.

SNES is the GOAT and it's not even close

Nintendo because of nostalgia.
Xbox because of Halo and that amazing OddWorld Game.

Nintendo. Seriously, try to do a Smash Bros game with X-Box characters. Try that with PS... well they tried it and it was awful and laughable. Nintendo is the heart of video games.

Xbox (because of original halo)
Nintendo
PlayStation
Xbox would be second if not for halo. Maybe even 3rd

I have strong nostalgic connections to the SNES and original PlayStation. Looking back at the library, I think they also had the strongest games. Here's my hierachy:
The NES didn't have much actual competition as the video game industry was still very young, but NES > Atari's systems and the Master System.
SNES > Genesis.
PS > N64.
Dreamcast > PS2 > Xbox > GameCube.
Xbox 360 > PS3 > Wii.
PS4 > Xbox One > Wii-U.
I left out systems like Turbograx, NeoGeo, 3DO, and the Jaguar due to a complete lack of impact. The Dreamcast also had little impact, but it was kind of ahead of its time and suffered for it.

xbox one and the wii u are the best because of backward compatibility
xbox one is better than ps4 because of pc ecosystem integration and the controller
ps4 just has slightly better graphics :\ . and we all know graphics are a very small part of what makes a great game. if you were going for the best graphics you'd just go PC gaming

All time GOAT?
1. NES - brought the industry back from brink, best game library ever, aged well, most of Nintendo's best IP started here
2. Atari 2600 - created the industry, great arcade hits
3. SNES - second best game library, had innovations like Star Fox
4. PS2 - The start of "modern" open world gaming, most successful console ever
5. Xbox 360 - amazing graphics for the time, Xbox Live changed everything and set a new standard, Kinect was motion done right
6. Genesis - Pretty good library and the only option if you like sports or blood in games
7. Playstation 1 - brought about 3D console gaming in a huge way, tons of current franchises started here
8. PS4 - currently the best console on the market and bounceback for Sony after overcomplicated PS3 design
9. Wii - THE system for casual gamers, the last time they would care about a console (unless you call the AppleTV a console)
10. Dreamcast - amazing game library for having a short life, online play before anyone else did it, graphics often looked better than PS2

I'd say rather than the NES saving the video game industry from the brink of collapse, it instead established the industry as viable for the first time. Games kind of sucked before the NES came along and made them bright, better looking, more challenging, and more varied. Overall, the NES made everything way more fun.
