WWYD, If You Found a Friends Probably Stolen Nude Photos Were Posted Online?

So yesterday I was in another forum and some photos were posted in a thread like you will see here or on the other OT on occasion. I immediately recognized someone and sourced the photo to reddit, only to find several more, including many nudes.
It was fairly obvious it was either posted by an ex or stolen somehow. I spoke with a female coworker and she told me to let her know. I did, but with an anonymous email account. She started attacking me in the emails, but I havent responded and probably wont.
What would you have done?
And they have been deleted, so sorry no pics.

This story is confusing.
So you found nude pictures of a female friend, and a female co-worker (that is not that friend) told you it would be best to tell her, so you did tell her via an anonymous email and the nude friend then tried to kill you the messenger via email?
Is that right?

Pretty much.
I saw a non nude photo in a thread with other women as well.
Recognized her, sourced the photo to Reddit
Reddit contained many more photos, including many nudes. I am not that familiar with reddit but it was a Milf section
I talked to a female coworker on her thoughts if I should inform her, since the photos looked to posted without her knowledge.
I emailed from a burner account and she has responded about 10 times with comments like, "I am going to the FBI they will find you" "You anonymous people make me sick", "Not man enough to tell me who you are" etc...
My original email states I randomly came across them and wanted to tell her so she could get them removed if they were against her consent. I linked her what appeared to be the original post and linked the user and told her to track him down.
My original email was pretty clear that I didnt post them
Me informing her of who I am would only make the situation even more awkward.
She is pretty much on the offensive with me because I saw the photos.

She is pretty active in the community and I would hate for someones life to be ruined because of a bitter ex or a hack/theft of personal info. this shite ruins peoples lives on multiple levels.

The anonymous email was not a terrible idea, but I'm also not surprised that she got pissed. At least the photos are down now.

She probably thinks you are trying to blackmail her or something. I wouldn't have told her from a throwaway email. And if I did and she threatened legal stuff, I would tell her that it was me, her friend. I wouldn't want her lawyers digging through all my crap.

One time on here I saw a pic of a girl I knew. Some Bama guy started a thread asking what he should do about this girl he was going out with and he posted a pic and it was a girl I knew's older sister. In the thread the guy started talking about their sex life and I knew most of it was BS. I didn't say anything though because it wasn't my business.
I wouldn't tell girls because they wouldn't tell each other. I've had several girls tell me they see guys with girlfriends or even married on tinder all the time. They say it's not their business so unless it's their best friends SO they wouldn't say anything.

I gave her the source and said if they were posted without her consent she needed to start there to track them down and get removed.

Sounds like you are a pretty good guy IRL for only masterbaiting to her nudes instead of using them to blackmail her for dirty sects.

can you see how my situation is a bit different? these were photos, not stories, posted without her consent.
From the photo collection, you could tell they werent submitted by her. There were kids(in non nudes) and photos of kids in the background
