I seriously don't get the pop thing. I never once heard that growing up in Missouri, in fact the first time I heard it I was in the Navy and didn't think the guy was serious.
Like some 1950s shite or something. He was from Iowa and thought it was strange that I called it coke.
Maybe up in N MO or something, I didn't spend much time up there.

I liiiiiiiiike Mizzou. Really. Always have.
I mean I have met their fans at games and they are very nice. Met Chase Daniel's mom (she is flight attendant) and she is the nicest person I have met. They are respectable, smart, have good colors and a cool logo. I love Don Drapper and I am sad about the death of journalism. I am Team Pitt for the great separation of our time, which is a Mizzou thing to be. I even like the rock M, God honest truth. Wish college football had more of that and less screens.
I am actually proud of them for having the SEC's first openly gay player, even if I think that became a circus in the NFL like the modern NFL often does. I don't like the safe spaces concept and the way they handled it, but in a way Mizzou's sacrifice opened my eyes to an oncoming threat to my freedom I didn't know of before and that will probably define me as a basket of deplorables like I have seen my WW2 hero (fought in both theaters) grandfather be labeled in his old age. I don't blame Mizzou one bit as it could have happened anywhere.
I am so happy Mizzou came with us to the SEC and I am happy most of their fans that post on here do. I do troll them from time to time but that is because I am an equal opportunity troll like any should be. When there is a good joke to be made I will make fun of any team, even my own (i.e. A melt), when it is warranted.
Mizzou is my favorite east team and my SEC soul animal. Miz-zou.

We wanted Texas and Oklahoma or unc and Virginia and got u and usc.
