Wrong again.

Their interpretation is very literal and their adherence very thorough, hence the beheadings and such.

Their practice of Islam is comparable to following all of the laws of the Old Testament. It's definitely not a pick-and-choose approach.

This states that you either cut off their heads, enslave them and/or make them pay taxes. So it does justify cutting off heads, just not as the only thing allowed.
