You mean WIDE LOAD stickers?

Handicap plates or hang tags may be what you are looking for

PS, I have 2 GA handicapped hang tags for others when I drive them in my car. While I am happy just to be driving at my age, some near my age are much more limited.

Confession: As my metabolism slows, I'm about 10 lbs over where I'd like to be. Optimum for me would be between 155-160 lbs.

I hate to tell you, it just gets worse as you get older. Right now I think I can eat 800 calories a day and still gain weight.

Same here for me which I may have weighed in grade school. By high school i looked like about 150 to 175 but I was already 225 with pretty much 0 body fat and a 6,000 to 8,000 a day calorie diet. As a lineman I looked very small and thin till I hit you and folks realized my appearance was deceptive.

Till my mid to late 20's I could still burn probably 6,000 calories a day but if I tried to eat half of that today I would get sick.

Biggest suggestion is your metabolism starts to slow in your early 30's, not your early 50's like some folks try and tell you. Try to get to whatever weight you want to be at (or is comfortable) by say your 40th birthday because after that it gets harder and harder. If you have not gotten to your comfortable weight by say 48 - 52 then it gets almost impossible after that.

Good luck man and don't stress 5 or 10 lbs either way as it is not worth the worry it will take off your life.

I'm 47.

I was 145 lbs at 40 . I skied a ton and cycled several thousand miles each year. Was likely underweight. Then I met my wife and started a family. Loss of exercise time and the fact she's a kick @$$ cook were the 1 2 punch.

At the park where I walk my dogs there is a middle-age woman who parks in a handicap spot and then walks her dog. After the walk she puts the dog back in her car and goes for a two-mile run, which is twice around the park. Who needs to know about this lowlife? The police?
Let the air out of a couple of her tires, then ease on off from it and watch her when she gets back...you'll feel better!

Does not Compute !!!!

If you are not getting more than enough exercise with small kids you must have servants.

Just saying finding a block of time to ride 3 hours/50 miles doesn't exist any more.

I'd burn a TON of calories doing that back in the day.

We still do lots of family things that count, but not the high intensity longer duration stuff that I used to. Biggest problem is adjusting portion sizes.

Yeah, coaches never address that

Following the kids as toddlers all day. Picking them and the stuff they pick up and put down kept me in shape. If you still have the energy, run before they get up and after they go to bed. If you still need exercise, get a babysitter and take the wife dancing.

The rest have simply been too fat to walk. I'm talking 400 pound, gotta be strapped to the scooter fat. If your disability is an inability to put down the fork, you aren't disabled.

You realize that many people become fat AFTER they are disabled? Not being ambulatory doesn't magically decrease your appetite, but it certainly decreases the rate at which you burn calories.

Dont get me started. We went the week before Thanksgiving and it was the a blast, but this almost ruined it for me.

everywhere we went, it took 5 minutes to load and unload the fatties from the busses.

Also they are able to cut in line and they drive in the middle of the walk ways.

such a pain in the arse

At the Wal-Mart over in Clinton Missouri, very large people waddle up to the mobility scooters aka motorized shopping carts, and away they go for potato chips and ice cream. Its like they must have 100 in that store. ( Here's a idea for those that use them : Dont go side by side down the aisles)

Releasing wolves into Yellowstone did wonders for the environment. I am giving this one a chance.... and an up-vote.

That is the time to take a screwdriver or other instrument and let the air out of a tire.
