This one is a basic ingredient kit for an amber. Though I experimented with the hops during brewing and fermenting. I plan to do some darker, higher alcohol contents later on.

Is it more about the cool factor of the fact that you made it or does it really taste good enough that you would drink it over another premium beer.

I'm surprised how well some of them have turned out. But the taste continues to evolve after bottling. It's 10 times as better as it was three weeks ago.
I'm really into craft beer right now and have visited some local breweries for ideas and just have a fascination with how varied a home brew can be.

Very cool. I'm playing with the idea of doing my own home brew when we purchase our first house. That's gotta be a good feeling to come up with a great tasting beer that you've crafted yourself.
