I was always a fan of the mockingbird. The ultimate troll.

Georgia reps the Brown Thrasher. Not a hockey guy, but I liked that Atlanta used the Thrasher as the mascot while they were here.

And like 10 states have the northern mockingbird as a state bird so that is basic AF.

You ever listen to a mockingbird go through all of its calls in the middle of the night? It's really cool. I once heard a mockingbird go through about 40 different calls, one after the other, and then when it got to the end of the playlist it started over from the beginning and did it again. One of the neatest things I've experienced in nature.

That is neat, but they're violent as frick too. (which I like)

Things Mokingbirds beat up:

all other small birds
Crows
small hawks
people running close to a fresh hatched nest (me)
cats

I saw what I thought was a bat INSIDE the cover of a street light, circling the bulb at 800 rpm eating bugs at 2 a.m. once. It was a fricking Mockingbird.

They are the Trevor Phillips of bird species.

I had a stoned Owl encounter last year. Walked outside on the deck trashed at midnight or so. Huge owl lands on the crest of the roof, 180 degree turns his head in my direction and "hooted" loud AF. I stayed out there and enjoyed it but I think my dick drew in a little.

damn I wish pot was legal

The Carolina Wren is ok. We're more of a tree state.

that might've freaked me the frick out. I gotta be careful because I will get so high that I will get sketched out over the dumbest stuff.

I'm not and never will be one of those people that takes time out of my day to lobby for pot, but it is extremely silly that's it's still illegal.
