Ah shite man, right before I go to bed.
At the dentist's office, got to cut class (middle school) that day and watched it live from the waiting room.

It was 7th grade I think
Was changing to go to PE and some kid told me the pentagon blew up...I knew what the pentagon was but didn't realize how massive it was and therefore thought the entire building was gone... and thne saw the tv in my PE teacher's office
Rest of the day kids kept getting called out of school but the school made an announcement to leave the TVs off
Really sucks that the school felt it was their responsibility to hide such a historic event from us
Went home and watched the news non stop the rest of the day

I was dropping my daughter off at day care when the second plane hit. My little sister was starting at Princeton Theological Seminary the next week, so her and my little brother were in a boutique hotel a couple of blocks from the WTC. My dad was flying back from Newfoundland that morning. My mom was a wreck for hours.
It was so surreal. It was like watching a disaster movie/documentary all rolled into one for hours on end.

I just got home from working a 12-hour graveyard shift, turned on the tv with some food, and initially thought it was some movie with a fake news segment. Starting flipping through channels to find Espn and watch sportscenter and realized every news station was covering this and it just hit me like a shot of adrenaline like "holy fricking shite is this for real?", and that was before the 2nd plane struck the other tower. I ended up watching all morning and stayed awake for about 30+ hours before I crashed.

I left first period @ 8:50. One of my best friend's little bro came running down the hall screamin "they bombed the world trade center."
My offensive coordinator was 2nd period teacher, so of course he already had rented a tv and we watched the news for 50 min. It was unreal, but at 17 years old, I didn't process the severity like i should have. We played our football game on saturday that week. The whole night felt eerie.

I was sitting in my basement at my computer. I was working on some AutoCAD drawings for a contract that I had taken. I was also chatting on a fishing message board very similar to this one. Had the TV on at 8:45am when the first plane hit.
I sit in my basement for about a hour then I called my wife. Demanded she come home from work and I went to school to get my kids. We all sit in our living room and watched most of the day.
I will never forget that day and those event and how they made me feel.
I think we should all watch the coverage every year so we do not forget.

Sr. Year of HS. Walked out of first period and a friend started yelling something about a plane crash.
We went to the library and watched and I was late for my next class.
Was incredibly surprised at how lax security was at the airport TBH.

Coming off my 4th consecutive 16 hour shift at the Tropicana factory freezer docks in Bradenton, Fl. Driving home to get some sleep, heard about the first tower getting hit on the radio.
Because I have family in the FDNY, I turned on the TV when I got home, and watched the 2nd tower get hit live.
Watched them both collapse, didn't sleep at all that day. I've never been much of praying man, but I was praying my arse off that day.

Production meeting. Someone stuck their head in the door and said that a plane just hit the WTS - first thought was Cessna type small plane.
Never forget.
Never forget.

I was in my Sophomore Econ Class. It was a boring lecture that day so I started doodling pictures of airplanes. Found out about the towers when I got back to my room shortly after.
