What's the difference between the Off Topic board and the OT Lounge?

Always though the OT actually stood for Off Topic and now I just noticed a separate Off Topic board.

The OT lounge is full of millennials. This OT is for adults.

It's a hidden gem for now. It's a fun place to be when someone goes off the rails randomly about veteran holidays.

This board originally could only be accessed after you selected the SEC Rant so I took it to be an off-topic sports board for SEC Ranters. I still think that could be the main distinction between this board on the OT Lounge. In other words if you want to discuss non-SEC conferences/players, this might be an appropriate place to do so.

This board is for things involving the SEC or its region that doesn't relate to sports. Some Florida fan fricked a goat? That thread goes here and not on the Rant. Best bar in the SEC footprint? Here. Why does Tuscaloosa suck? Here.
The Rant is for sports and sports only. Players and off-the-field incidents happening at other schools outside of the SEC should go on the MSB, but I don't care if they're here. This board could use the traffic.
My main concern now is keeping the Rant about SEC sports and not which school has the biggest endowment for the umpteenth time.

Much less traffic on this board and the responses are somewhat more serious. I use somewhat loosely though. Haha

For a good comparison, make reservations at a five star restaurant for a nice dinner. That is the OT.
