USA men's team winning the next world cup or your football team winning a NC?
I realize it's probably a dumb question on a football board in the south, but there would be a ton of respect and pride gained to be the best in the world...

That depends, what flag patch would be on our team's uniforms? If it is an offensive one, count me out.

Not even a soccer fan, but I would LOVE to see us win a WC. The very thought gives me chills.

I'd take a NC since it's been 35 years since the last one and I really don't care about the world cup even though I like watching it.

For a lifelong soccer fan, this is tough. I'd have to say a World Cup, honestly. If our best athletes all played, we'd be the best in the world.

I think we're on our way. I think kids are starting to realize that playing professional soccer somewhere like Spain or Norway has some serious benefits. Over playing football for Oakland or some shite.
