Wife and I were thinking a few years back to heading there on vacation.

We will wait.

Greece's economy is roughly the size of South Carolina's. I don't get why this is a big deal.

It's far more a political problem than an economic one (unless you're in Greece of course).

Who falls next?

I would imagine Spain isn't incredibly far behind.

Actually, Spain was a mess but they cleaned up their act, started acting more like Germany, and they have really turned things around.

ding debt (money that doesn't exactly exist) has shown to just...not work.

Yup.

Every developed country is in debt. You have to ask...who has money? Logic would dictate that somebody has to be sitting on a pile of money but nobody is.

Logic wouldn't dictate that. Your local bank doesn't have a pile of money.

The only real solution is population reduction on a global scale but hardly anyone is interested in that route.

Yeah, if you and I ran for president and vice president, it wouldn't be a very nice platform.

''Alright, so anyway, about 35% of you have to go.

...You guys wanna make that 40?''

But it is the only solution, a dramatic drawback of population.
