We were up for new phones, we agreed we would count them as our Christmas presents.
ETA: If you need ideas, simply say to her, "Don't buy yourself anything this month. I don't want you to buy what I got you for Christmas." When her curiosity takes over, she will start asking and guessing ("An iWatch? Those shoes I loved?"), giving you every idea you could ever need.

Exactly what mine wanted. Thank the Lord I found out ahead of time what she wanted because who would have "thunk" an Hermes purse would cost that much. I almost fainted when I saw the price but she is worth it.
