What are these veggies in my yard?

They grow on vines and they are greener than they look in the pic. What are they and do they have any culinary value?

They look like body snatcher pods. Plant a few next to some of your neighbors' houses.

I was 8 when that came out. Freaked me out like Salem's Lot and The Omen did.. (The 70's version.. I know there was an even earlier one)

Could it possibly be a snake gourd or your wife may have planted some organic butt plugs.

Good find. Of note.. it's harmful for ingestion.. so no culinary.

Thanks, man. Yeah I hadn't really tried to look it up yet. I figured someone would have the answer.

Milk definitely comes out when you take it off the vine. That's why I wanted to know if it was edible.
