That's actually the safest way, vs walking the street. But it's still dangerous work, particularly on backpage.

By what means do you suggest they advertise?
Personal websites are no safer than backpage...high end or low end...a "sex workers" ability to verify a john via a screening process..background checks...review sites...word of mouth...references...determines his/her safety...
Apparently this guy had no criminal history...looks like this could have happened to any girl.

Sure sounds like he was a genuine serial killer. His kill kit (it's not called a kill list) indicates he was experienced. His sloppiness with the victim that killed him also indicates the over-confidence that serial killers always display well into their "careers."
