Bill and his family are from my hometown; his dad owned a lumber company. I know people that have worked with him, and they always said he was one of the best actors to be involved with. He was friendly, pleasant, dedicated, and nice to the entire crew. Just a sheer joy to be around.
Gonna miss him.
Bill Paxton passes away at age 61.

If you haven't seen A Simple Plan, check it out. One of his best performances.

Here was my favorite Bill Paxton moment with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog:
Triumph: So, Bill...you were in Independence Day
Bill Paxton: No, that was Bill Pullman
Triumph: Same difference.

His name didn't ring a bell, but he was in Trespass. If you love heists as much as me, I think you'll like it.

His best role, by far, was Chet, but what has to go on his tombstone is the line from Hicks:
Game over, man, game over.
Game over, man, game over.

"It's an F5!!! It's an F5!!!!"
I'm not sure Bill is the one who actually said it but "Twister" still deserves a mention. His tornado conquering and rekindled love with Helen Hunt would bring tears to any man's eyes.
