Uverse vs cox

who on here as Uverse?
I'm close to switching because cox is about useless. 2 hour service window and those stupid fricks can't even meet that.
I see Uverse is a good bit cheaper but that is with promos and stuff.
Is it worth the switch over?

My issue with uverse is getting fast enough internet through ATT. Cox has really good Internet service.
We thought about making the switch a year ago but never did. Cox is a pain in the arse to deal with, but actually have the best shite.

My fricking cable box is old as shite, its struggling with using on demand. They were suppose to come replace that but somehow its 2 hours later and no dice. I finally called was like just cancel it. It took all I had to not yell at the girl on the phone, which i hate yelling at people that aren't at fault.
I keep going back and fourth on it because i feel like service goes out way too much, plus when i need something done they are slow as frick about it.

Tell then your canceling because of the crap service, old cable box, ect. Tell them you're switching to uverse.
They'll work with you. They don't want you switching to anyone else. Also, don't be afraid to yell at them, but use it sparingly. I know it's not the person on the phones fault. However, establish you're a reasonable person and then get angry and demand to speak to a manager if you're not getting the response you need.
Worst case you changer carriers. Best case, they hook you up with a deal and fix your problem.

My point is they all suck, paying $100+ for TV is outrageous to me
All I really need to watch is Hogs games...which I will watch real time so I don't need a DVR - there's another $17/month from UVerse!
Equipment technology fee? Well I don't really want your equipment - there's another $10!
Equipment rental fee? Another $7!
You get the idea
I get basic channels and all ESPN/SECN for $25/month now. So glad I switched

Love UVerse. Much better than the other providers I have used in the past.
