Uranus

- Pressure inside Uranus can break up methane molecules squeezing the carbon in them so tightly it forms diamonds.

- Methane is good at absorbing red light which is why it appears blue/green since that is what is reflected.

- It and Venus are the only planets spinning clockwise.

- Its moons are named after Shakespeare characters.

- One of its moons has the tallest known cliff in the universe. 5-10 Kilometers high. If you jumped it would take you around 6 minutes to reach the bottom.

Neptune

-sustained wind speeds clocked at over 2000km/hr. Faster than speed of sound.

-It's moon Triton is probably a captured ice ball that has active geology.

- Neptune was found/predicted mathematically before it was seen by telescope due to the inference it caused to Uranus's orbit.

- Neptune's orbit was also off due to another predicted planet/object...which led to the discovery of Pluto. But this was later revealed to be an accident since the mass # in the calculations were actually off.

Another factoid: Uranus and Neptune switched orbits as the solar system evolved. The combined gravitational effects of Jupiter and Saturn disrupted their movements about the sun. Solar system bullies.
