apparently the namesake building was named after a KKK person. lol

In addition to the questionable funding decision made on researching the decision to rename buildings, the university has plans to build a $3 million black cultural center.
According to a press release, the center “will be an engine for black students’ academic success, providing the room and resources to grow stronger intellectually, ethically, physically and as a community,” and “will connect black students with resources for student success and leadership, as well as serve as a site for seminars and programs that serve the UO and all of Oregon.”
I'm sure that the Black Cultural Center will be open to anyone who wants to go though since they are renaming one building to a new name about inclusion and racial diversity which the other name despised.

no problem with them changing the name but 23.4K to research it is dumb. the students who raised the issue no doubt had some sources already.

lol, that's why I posted this.
the history of racism in the country is littered with liberal Democrats. it was the white supremacy party and they were liberals.
Democrats still use race to divide people today, they are anti-white now. It is about political power.

reality is when the south was backwards and poor and uneducated, the Democrat party owned it. FDR got 98 percent of the vote in SC in 1932, and he was far left. lol
as educated middle class people moved in the south, it shifted to GOP.

there may be racists who oppose illegal immigration and want a wall, but that doesn't make the position racist. Illegal immigration is really hurting the employment prospects of low income people including low income minorities, and driving down wages. Moreover, many of the illegals are murdering and raping people and committing other crimes. One of Trump's biggest supporters was a black man whose son was murdered by an illegal.
I would argue the fact that leftwingers are always describing the GOP as racist, plus come across as anti-white, is driving many white racists to the GOP. You are creating the perception the GOP is racist.
In general, white racists are very anti-Jew and anti-Israel as well, and that is line with the Democratic party including Obama. The GOP is pro-Israel.
