It's called a construction zone, you drove thru 10 fricking miles of construction signs and didn't realize that?

Not to mention this is, what, part of four years of work?

Tuscaloosa is actually a really fun college town.

It's fun if you're college age or if it's game day, but otherwise he's right and it's a boring town. shite hole is strong, but go there on a random Wednesday in February or June your viewpoint will be different.

Baton Rouge is a shithole.... But at least there's a little more to do outside of football season if you aren't college age.

Baton Rouge has far better neighborhoods and areas. Tuscaloosa truly is crap.

While it is not Atal ta, Tuscaloosa has made tremendous strides.

The north river area is great with lakes and golf. The amphitheatre pulls good acts consistently. Restaurant scene is good with new ones opening on a timely basis.

A city of 200k+ has better neighborhoods than a city of 99k?

Baton Rouge also has two fricking miles of straight ghetto trash between its downtown and campus. Congrats on being a bigger Montgomery.

In no universe is Baton Rouge nicer than Tuscaloosa, unless you're really into crime and/or HIV.

I live in Tuscaloosa. Most of it is a shite hole. Yes there are nice areas. Downtown, Lake Tuscaloosa, UA. Mfarland BLVD is an armpit. Most of the rest of it is an armpit. The traffic is shite.

I'm ready to go.

I lived in Tuscaloosa from 2008-2011. I thought it had its charms and I generally avoided the ghetto areas and McFarland. Downtown was always nice to visit and hang out in.

I find it cute when a resident of Louisiana pops in to tell us how shitty Alabama is. I hate that I have gotten to the point of basically ignoring most posts when there is a LSU icon above the username. It isn't fair to the entire fan base and I realize that they make up the majority of the site but dann it man, I just never would of guessed that most of them are absolutely ate up with Bama. I get that we own their arse in football and have a better win percentage in tiger stadium than they do but it's still just a game. Lighten up tiger fans.

Dude - You stopped in some shitty restroom off I-20 and then you extrapolate that to everything Alabama? Really?

In all seriousness: Fuc#k You. You are fricking idiot and a perfect example of why LSU posters are such sad little bitches.

Sorry, I live in Fayetteville. Someone explain to me what these are. I constantly hear them referenced by others when describing their SEC college towns.
