I feel that if a girl can legitimately earn a spot on the boys' team, then she should be allowed to play. Not many high school girls can compete with boys their age, but those that can and want to should be given the opportunity. They are only pushing themselves to get better and I don't think that should be hindered only because of their sex. If you want to ban this person for taking testosterone, ok. But this person should not be competing against girls.

Most of the mats in Georgia have a single circle for the boundary and I've only heard folks refer to them as simply "mats" since I became familiar with wrestling in the mid 90's. Most of the guys I hear talking about rings are the ones who know the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair and not so much Dan Gable or Cael Sanderson. But to each their own.

And yes they are mats. That's indeed what they are called most of the time. But what else would you refer to the boundaries on the mat as other than a ring? In my statement I was very specifically referring to standing right in the very middle so that seemed a much more accurate way to describe it

Again I'd never heard anyone call the mats a ring. I thought it was funny and I just don't hear that in Georgia. I associate mats with real work and competition and rings with scripts and chairs. But Gable and Sanderson seem to be one in the same if you look at their wrestling careers and both will always be legends. I was lucky enough to attend a three day Dan Gable wrestling clinic back around the late 90's/ early 00's and that man earned a gym full of high school kids and adults respect in Atlanta, Ga. His work ethic, at 50, was second to none. He took time to coach and go hands on and wrestle every kid and speak to everyone in the stands. I'll always be a Gable fan but I do admit he was before my time. I got to witness Sanderson make history.

I am so confused, have no idea if this person is physically male or female, and if this person is turning from male to female or vice versa, and if this person is a he or she or something else, male or female in mind or dreams, a sex change mentally or just physically or some combination.

To be fair to the state, they are more afraid of the reverse, where boys who say they feel feminine can wrestle the girls and mop the floor with them. If they allow one they would likely be expected to allow the other.

She is a girl who is being given male hormones to develop male body characteristics in anticipation of her transition.
All the transgendered stuff aside, she is competing while using performance enhancing drugs prohibited by pretty much every athletic sanctioning body. It's what made the old Eastern Bloc female Olympic athletes so manly.
