Great hospital. I had a 50/50 shot at life at 5 years old and by 9 I was completely cured. Hats off to those fine folks.

That is a great hospital filled with some of the best doctors and people I have ever met. AL is Very fortunate to have that facility.

these Children's hospitals are awesome. My great niece was at Cincinnati Children's from October thru last month. Now she'll go back about once every other month for awhile.

I have a friend that works there. She said that everyone there loves their job and no one wants to take days off.

Thanks for sharing this OP.

My sister is a PA there. Started in January after she finished school.
I would have thought it would take a huge emotional toll working with sick kids. I know she's already experienced at least one death, but she says the good far outweighs the bad and she loves her job.
She says they're constantly doing really cool things like this for the kids. Seems like an incredible place to work.

My parade krewe does a walk at Childrens in New Orleans every year. It is difficult what you see and rewarding at the same time. Cudos to the fine people that work at those facilities.
