Wife wants to head east for Fall and I'm hoping to catch a game in the process. Looking at Oxford right now(because it's relatively close). Any recommendations on things to do and sights to see?

Taylor grocery. Volta. City grocery. All good places to eat. The square has a nice small town southern feel to it. Nice town.

You're gonna want to stay at The Graduate, it's right by the square or there is a brand new Marriot on Jackson, which is also very close to the square. City Grocery, South Depot, Snack Bar, Bacchus on the square, Ajax, basically any place in the square will have good food. There really isn't much to see except the square and the campus itself...but there is a lot of history around town. Rooster's and Rafters are good bars to goto if you're an older couple and looking for a laid back atmosphere. I work at Rafters and it's known to be the best place to goto for games

My joint Larry's usually has good music. It's kind of a local type bar most days but can sometimes turn into a shite show during game nights. The food used to be mediocre there but is pretty on point now.

You can blow dixie in a moonshine jug and spit on some minorities and gays.

I highly recommend going when your team wins in OT after converting on 4th and 25. It's fun. 10/10 would do again.
