It's like watching a game on CBS.

90 minutes of Negan grinding Rick's face into his crotch. The only moment of interest for me was Rick looking longingly at Daryl as Negan's men hauled him away from the Hilltop.

It's like the show runners want to lose viewers.

That episode didn't need to be 90 minutes. I also thought there were many more commercial breaks. That was probably my least liked episode.

The show really is garbage but I have so much damn time invested in it that I just simply refuse to give up. But I'm damn sure not giving it 100% of my focus while it's on. I wonder how many others are in this boat? And does anyone know how many seasons they'll drag this show on?

I'm there. TWD jumped the shark for me with the first episode this season. Rick's group seems to just go from psycho to psycho with Negan being the Caligula of all psychos.

He can't be topped so I don't see a future storyline that can continue the series. It has gotten so far removed from the reason for the show, the walkers and the virus that causes them, that it's just a brutal soap opera. Losing me real fast.

Negan' schtick is already kinda tired.

I guess he's what comic book nerds think is a "bad-arse".

THat little tilt back/slouch side to side thing--make it a drinking game.

He's badly overacting.

This show is starting to really suck.

Of course it got away from that. You can only do so many seasons about that. As the group grew, the walkers became less of a threat.

This show has sucked for a while. I don't have a problem with getting away from the zombies. That explicitly happens in the comic books as well, when Rick realizes that the zombies aren't really a threat and can be managed fairly easily with a bunch of different techniques. The real enemy is society. It's very Lord of the Flies in the way it looks as different types of leaders and such, but the characters have just become less and less likeable over time.

I also really dislike the one-dimensional psychopathic demeanor of Negan.

Not only were there a lot of commercial breaks, they were very poorly placed. Killed a lot of momentum and suspense.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like seeing the hero protagonist broken and made into some a-hole's bitch.

And have a 90 minute special devoted to it. Yuck.

There is a Klingon proverb that tells us "Revenge is a dish that is best served cold".

I liked it. But I also like to see the bad guys win.

I think they made it 90 minutes just so they could add Negan's line about sliding his dick down Rick's throat and have it air after 10PM eastern.
