Modern globe projection don't do it justice. Cartographists are a bunch of racists. Here's a more accurate depiction (Peters projection) of the size of the world vs. the more popular Mercator projection:

Very cool map. I was actually looking at a map of USA vs Africa last week but this one is way better with all of the other countries placed inside. Would have figured China was bigger proportionally than it is.
