Some of the best commercials in recent history. Legit, and I hate commercials.

Some of them are funny, but I'm starting to get that over played feel to them.

I hate economics. I hate finance. I hate marketing most of all.
I have been a collector of advertisement since I was 18. I've bought thousands of dollars' of old magazines at 5-10 cents a pop JUST to perview the commercials. I stack posters. I have DVD's...
My stance has ever been that I am immune. You cannot sell me anything. I view advertisement objectively. It is an art form. It's potent. It's what makes the world go 'round. It's AWESOME!
I like the Rob Lowe ads, BUT I BARELY REMEMBER WHAT THEY'RE SELLING! ok. DirecTV. I've had DirecTV for like 15 years now. STILL: Those ads fail (imHo) because one doesn't tend to remember the product. He/She remembers Hairy Armed Rob Lowe.
Do they really make you want to switch to DirecTV? I don't think so.

That's what I got my degree in. Hoping to be employed in that vein as well after the military

Ever since that video of him boning a 16-year-old in Atlanta, I can't help but regard Lowe as an idiot. A huge idiot, to be sure but still... It's a wonder he didn't severely injure that girl.
