You may want to consider concierge medicine. Then you pair it with a high deductable cheaper insurance for catastrophic coverage.
Obamacare has a line in there for it, not to protect you, but because a lot of the 1% have concierge doctors they pay $30,000 a year for.
Its the free market basically sticking the finger to the government.

Strangely enough, people like Basshole are guilty of the same PC crap they accuse everyone else of. There is no alternative way of thinking, and if you don't agree with them, you're an idiot. Bass always posts the same shite and does nothing but call people stupid all day. If you don't agree with him 100% on every issue, you're stupid.
Sadly, people who pigeonhole themselves as liberal or conservative nowadays have turned into shills, and they don't think independently. When there's a controversial issue with a lot of gray area, I've seen people on the Poli board say "What do we think about this?"
Think for yourself! You shouldn't have to get Rush Limbaugh's or Al Sharpton's opinion on something before you form your own. That's a big problem with society today, not only for adults but also the children in our education system. They never learn to think critically (which is another handy form of control, btw).

Food for thought - Here in Tennessee you do know that the MSM is comprised of right wing radio and right wing talk shows. If you're talking about cable news,,,then Fox is your MSM according to viewer numbers. So basically, the MSM bullshite that the right likes to tout is exactly that - bullshite.

I often see stuff like that and it makes me wonder what would have to be posted for some of these guys to say "Woah now, that's a little too crazy, let's step back from the brink." It's like with some people and their politics there is nothing that is too extreme or over the top.
My uncle in Texas posted something the other day about how they need to retake Mexico and then secede from the US, and I legit couldn't tell if he was joking or not. Poe's Law in full effect.
