Was severely underrated. A lot of the episodes were very clever and actually pretty damn weird.

There are no shows like that today.

I think it dealt too much with the paranormal in some episodes. I liked the alien storyline, though.

Fringe was much better than X Files.

Watching it as I type this. Of course I've watched it all before, but you're right. It's the goat paranormal/scifi show. It's not really close.

The show, Black Mirrors, on Netflix, attempts to be a modern British Twilight Zone.

Is it a different topic each week like the original TZ?

Back in the day people bought TVs just to watch the Twilight Zone.

It was probably the only show my Dad made everyone stop what they were doing and not make any noise in the house. The Time Element, 60 Minutes and Twilight Zone were his three shows all on The Big Eye ... CBS.

Rod Sterling was loved in my family because, like all of the men in my family, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division.

We all have our favorite episodes.

The story arch, maybe. X Files monster of the day 10X >>>> Fringe.

I've only watched the first two episodes but they both differed greatly so I would say so.

Have always loved TZ, but enjoy it even more now that I know who a lot of those guest actors were.

The Invaders was one of my favorite episodes. Puts a lot into perspective when you watch it.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Robert Redford, Robert Duvall, et al. One of my favorite episodes is the one with Charles Bronson and Elizabeth Montgomery. That one really stuck with me when I was a kid.

I always watch several episodes during the New Years Marathon on SyFy, and always have to DVR my wife's favorite "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street"

I've successfully succeeded in getting my gf's little sister into Twilight Zone and Star Trek: TNG. I was pleased with myself.
She's a cool kid though, she was already into Doctor Who
