Apparently the snakes are coming with the flood. They're washing into people's houses that are getting overrun

Oh look, more fun to be had.

Don't get too complacent as this band slips to the north. The short term models have the bands sliding back to the south tonight. The hurricane has now tapped deep Atlantic moisture in the deep tropics. This is practically a pineapple express, just with more moisture and a better pressure gradient to pump it in.

This map shows moisture transport in the lower atmosphere. This could and will get much worse for many in the midlands of SC.

Praying for all the people in South Carolina, I know what some of you are going through and it's miserable. Many on this site can relate I'm sure.
