While honoring all those who have fallen, have served or are serving I always hope that someday their sacrifices and service won't be needed.

A shame that this got multiple downvotes just because the OP chose to say thank you to those currently serving along with those who are no longer with us. I'm thankful for those still serving everyday. And for those who died serving.
