I think the most amazing thing about that video is that they may have found the first stupid Asian American.

Wordstar, dBase 3+, 640k Ram, 10mb hard drive, choice of two colors for text, green or amber, DOS from the C:>, batch files, Basic, dial up, BBS's... those were the days, lol.

I remember getting a 2g desktop and thinking I would never fill it up. Then, along came music sharing....

Yeah I haven't seen dial up since 2001. There is no way the majority of current teens have used it or remember it.

The last time we had it was 2002. But the last time I actually saw dial up was 2008. I was shocked.
I was dating a girl who lived in a neighborhood who for whatever reason DSL wasn't available. And she didn't even live out in the country or anything, she lived in Hoover, AL a mile from Spain Park HS in an upper middle class sub division.

I still have my 20g Windows XP Desktop from like 06. Still like it's OS a lot more than Win8.

eta: Make that 40g. It was partitioned.

I think pretty much every older teen has used dial up internet more than once in their lifetime you'll have to wait a little longer on that one

My brother just turned 23 and has never used dial up.

I've decided 1982 was the perfect year to arrive in the world.

1981 here but you're right. Perfect time to be born.
