"T-Town" What's so great about it?

Ive been about 6 or 7 times now and every time I go Im disappointed. The school isn't that pretty (not the worst not the best). The girls aren't that pretty. There are more sidewalk gas station t-shirt wearing fans than I have seen at any school I've been to. Yeah, you got a nice football stadium, congrats. However, Coleman Coliseum may be the crappiest arena in the SEC, and that scrub baseball facility that you guys have reminds me of Oxford High School. Dreamland BBQ is overrated and the bar scene isn't worth a damn. Yes, Oxford is a good deal smaller in overall population, but the overall flare and beauty of Oxford is not even worthy of putting Tuscaloosa in the same category. So what say you gumps? tell me what I'm missing.
P.S. Taco Casa is the shite. I like a Taco Burger.

Different strokes for different folks.

Dreamland BBQ
But now I see part of the problem.

Once upon a time, flames were left on the SEC R and this board was pretty decent in regards to having conversations.

Oxford is in Mississippi. Therefore, Tuscaloosa>>>>Oxford.

I don't know if this is a troll, based on selective perception, or you honestly don't like it, but I enjoy it here. You say Dreamland is overrated, I say they have some pretty solid BBQ. It's not Bob Gibson or Archibals by any means, but Dreamland is a fun place to eat and is widely known across the SEC. You also say Coleman is a crappy arena. I'll agree somewhat, but the atmosphere there when packed out makes is a very fun venue. Debating on whether the campus is beautiful or not is opinion based, but a vast majority that visit it says its a very gorgeous campus. Oxford has pretty ladies, but its no different than any other SEC school. You can walk around Alabama's campus all day and more often than not, you'll meet attractive women. The same with Auburn. Drive on College Street at about 12 o'clock and your tongue will be hanging out. Same can be said about Oxford, Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, etc.. Major colleges attract
I don't like Taco Casa. I like Taco Mama.
As for the bars, our main entertainment district is the Stip, but I don't like it at all. Druid City Music Hall, formerly known as Jupiter Bar, is a nice music venue and will host some pretty good names here soon, including Aaron Lewis, former lead singer of Staind. To go along with that, in my opinion, Tuscaloosa has a very underrated music town. Good jam and alternative rock bands that play throughout the place. There was free live music on the Goverment's Plaza during the summer every weekend it seemed and drew pretty good crowds. That was also when the city council practiced an open container law, which got approved during the summer. There is a good bar selection in downtown Tuscaloosa, preferably on Temerson Square. There's a new one called the "Wheelhouse Pub" that is similar to Dave-n-Busters that will open soon. Next to Inisfree, they're building a new Bar&Grill. If you don't want to stay downtown, then my personal favorite is Southern Ale House once you cross the bridge on McFarland.
You can still feel however you want about Tuscaloosa, but I'm just telling you from my perspective living here and seeing the city grow after the tornado, I think Tuscaloosa is headed down a great path and continues to grow. Its changed the past 5 years and finally has started to put more emphasis on better hotel services.

You're probably gonna get sucker punched next time you visit for saying all that.

Then you should probably do the adult thing, and stop going.
Also, you should learn how to use apostrophes.

Ehh I love going to both. But I much prefer Oxford, if the bars didn't close at fricking 1am it'd be by a wider margin.
But OP is crazy that the women aren't hot, and Dreamland is delicious.

Taco Casa is good, but there's one in homewood. That renders Tuscaloosa utterly useless
