Has anyone noticed lately that David's seeds have a staleness(chewy texture) to them? Both the shell and seed.

Any Alternate brands you seeders enjoy?

Probably has more to do with the store(s) your buying them instead of the brand all of a sudden becoming stale.

I probably eat Frito Lay's 2 for $1 the most. But I like Big's or Giants the best. David seeds are too salty for me.

That's what I have been buying lately. And they seem much fresher.

Stacked it is a regional issue because all over Tn I have gotten stale David's. It's weird.

You people that do that shite, drive me crazy.

If a smoker or dipper is in my truck, they usually don't leave much of a mess.
friggin sunflower seed chewers though, y'all leave those hulls everywhere

I usually get them deshelled and raw because I like them in my pro town shakes along with pumpkin seeds and about 6-7 other ingredients.

That sounds pretty good. Ever put cashew butter in there? Damn it's good!

David's here in Louisiana have been extremely hard. I almost chipped a tooth on some of the jumbo ranch. I think I prefer the little frito lay bags though. David's has a strong flavor that wears on your tongue after awhile. I prefer the low-sodium versions aswell.

My fav flavor a from most to less is:
Low-sodium regular
Ranch
Dill pickle
Regular
Spicy

What's nasty about them in your opinion?

They are not that bad for you in small amounts. But when you are eating bags of them at a time, like most of us would, the salt and fat are in excess.

I use to eat them but its been a long time. They are addicting. I do absolutely hate people who eat them on the golf course.

I don't have a good reason. The taste just never sat well with me, I guess.

I guess so.

Thank my uber-health-conscious wife

Don't eat a whole lot of high-sodium foods anymore.

Not cashew, but I use almond butter on the regular. I get it freshly ground from whole foods or Kroger back in TN then drive it down

I am a big sunflower seed fan, I buy it from the local grocery store in plastic containers in 1/2 lb or 1 lb units.

I do not buy with shell, as they are just the seed
I do not buy salted, so mine are salt free

It makes a big difference to buy this way and a not messy at all. If the container is to big just use an old pill bottle or tic tac container to have a smaller, handy travel size. I do not find it in the nuts section and usually find it in the health food section or the dried fruits section,

Hope that helps.
