I have two sets of stereotypes I tend to fit, that kind of run opposite of each other.

1. I wore a tucked in, collared shirt, and loafers to get a couple of glasses of bourbon at bar here in Auburn, downtown.

2. For lunch tomorrow I already know I'm getting the three wing combo from Popeye's with sweet tea

You are doing it wrong or somebody is pulling a fast one on you

Historically it was a peasant food and did contain particles of feces which is why you cleaned them several times before cooking them.

My mom had a best friend that used to eat fried brains and eggs together at breakfast.

Again, poor folks ate what was left, so brains, snout, ears, and feet were in that group. If they are eating brains in this day and age have you considered the possibility your mom's friend is a zombie?

I'm white, I hire Mexicans to cut my lawn.

I go to the Farmer's Market and concerts in the park, where nobody gets shot and there aren't even any fights.

I own a mountain bike and a kayak.

I am not black but I do this I love pork skins and have for as long as I can remember. I also ate chitterlings when I was younger. As for my reason for for not buying the hot ones, I just don't like the flavor. Would rather mix up my own flavor and get the heat just the way I like it. Could be a younger vs older thing to. I notice younger folks prefer artificial synthetic flavors to the real thing. Love real vanilla because it is what I grew up with but I hate the fake stuff now in coffee and ice cream.

I have noticed that the people who usually do this are older black people so you may be on to something.

This. My mom liked it with sugar and my dad always salted his. Tried it both ways multiple times and just never liked it. Used to eat it plain just to go along with it when they'd buy it, but I haven't had watermelon since I left home and don't miss it at all

Damn both of you. Watermelon is just amazing. You should try it in a smoothie with Pineapple, mango and raspberry.

Only watermelon I like is artificial flavored candy.

It doesn't taste like watermelon whatsoever.

Probably did not grow up with Cream of Wheat for sweet foods.
