Wait... so science and engineering majors tend to make more than liberal arts majors?

If you received a liberal arts degree, you really shouldn't have gone to college.

Let's be honest 71k is more than enough to live comfortably on if your SO is even making 30k.

Don't even care.

After graduating from LSU with a Liberal Arts degree I started MUCH, MUCH lower than the LSU average. At mid career I am at many multiples of the highest.

Degrees are shite. Human aspiration is everything. As it should be. American Opportunity, baby! Not the paper of some puffed-up Institution full of braggarts and blowhards. frick Credentials . I'll take effort, expertise earned through experience and innovation.

Those numbers are bogus on "average" starting salaries. Half the students have worthless degrees that are worth about $7.25 an hour. The other half can't be averaging $80,000 to get around a 40 to $45,000 average per school.
