Not much to make of the trailer, but one little thing: Luke wants the Jedi to end?
Have the Jedi been evil all along?
Where is this cinematic universe going???

Only way to achieve true balance is for both the Jedi and Sith to end

I think he wants the perception of the Jedi = all good/all light to end.

The "perfect" Jedi who can balance the force can have command of the dark and the light.

No but Disney bought the franchise so it is evil now. Leave it to The Mouse to find a way to screw a good thing up in the name of higher profits.

So Rey's going to bring balance to the force? 25 days of building a strong economic backbone and 5 days of wraith and punishment? Sounds legit.
Also, on a side note. I love star wars but still haven't watched Rogue 1. Can someone talk me into it? I don't know if I've ever seen a good review on it. I think I will probably watch it this afternoon since I'm thinking about it.

It was good. If you like Star Wars, you should like it.

No, but Luke might have realized that it's best to be taught both sides of the force and to use both when appropriate. He might have seen with his teachings to Ben, Obi Wan's teaching of Anakin's, etc., that only learning the light side leaves you susceptible to being corrupted by the dark side.

Worst case scenario, you lose 2.5 hours watching a decent war movie.

Care to explain?
I thought it was pretty damn good considering where it sat in the time line. Explained things pretty well.

I had to be woken up twice during the movie, it was that boring.

Sounds like you need to get more sleep.
It was a solid movie.

Really? I find that odd but we all have our opinions.
Hopefully this next one satisfies your fancy.

Liked it. If any of you are gamers and haven't played Knights of the Old Republic then you should. That droid kind of reminded me of HK-47. Good stuff.
