I find Jim Jefferies hilarious, but i am not a fan this bit and his atheism/christian stuff.

I won't get into the differences between the U.S. and Australia, but they're vast. That makes this comparison very, very shitty.

I like that he called out the "protection" argument. Had some good points

This is a pretty good bit. I like his points and agree with him about the hero fantasys and bullshite reasons people give. That being said im still not for getting rid of guns. I think it gives the government more control over people's lives and i like the people to have the ability to resist the government if need be. History has shown that this is very important.
I understand that there is sacrifices with everything and that some innocent will be killed because of this. Unfortunately that is a real cost, but I still see it as a necessity. In a Utopian world the government would actually be an innocent democratic body of our representation, but that isnt the truth at all.
I did love the part where he talked about the #1 bullshite excuse is that only criminals will have guns. There is some truth to the drone thing. The argument has always been made that the armies have more technology, but the truth is that the armies are also citizens so in a real civil war most of the army would be on the resistance side. Now if we ever build tons of drones that are effective for ground fighting, not just air warfare, that could be a real game changer and is very scary to think about. I know a ton of gun ho military industrial complex GOP morons who would totally love for the USA to have drone armies. They wouldnt even realize that they just became slaves.

Jimmy's not funny.

Australia is a homogenous population of 23 million
America is a heterogenous population of 320 million
They are simply not comparable. For instance, if you take out gun related felonies committed by hispanics and AAs in America we are actually below Australia in gun-related violence.

You can't say that. It's racist to refer to facts and statistics.

Objectively pretty funny, but weak arse arguments against using guns as protection. Nobody uses assault rifles for protection: we use hand guns and shotguns. And not all confrontations are so fast that you don't have time to arm yourself.

Aboriginals?
You've obviously never been to Australia. They have a huge Asian population too.

Australia is 3% Asian. That's about 700,000 people.

The final estimated resident Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of Australia as at 30 June 2011 was 669,900 people, or 3% of the total Australian population

No, Roger did that. To say that Australia has a homogenous population shows a complete lack of knowledge of the country.
I've been to Australia, they have a game in Sydney called "Spot the Aussie" because there are so many Asians there.

Because Asians are such a big problem with gun violence in America....
