You know, I have never heard of a kid actually doing that. I have known some that hurt themselves with a slingshot though.Go figure.
One of my friends when we were a kid,broke his 2 front teeth with one of those wrist rocket slingshots,and I knew of several eye injuries.

I've got a liberal college professor as a sister-in-law. I tried to buy her 7 and 8 year old kids Nerf dart guns this year and my wife shut me down. She said it would cause too big of a scene at Christmas. Personally, I thought it was a great idea. I'm just trying to teach the kids about competition and winning.

I started using real guns by the time I was 8, he's more than old enough for a BB gun . Good job Uncle V&S
