First black and first female elected in Parma, MO; city officials quit citing "safety concerns."

Sounds like from the comments that she is trying to root out corruption. They knew they would be getting axed soon.

I'm interested to see how this plays out. Wasn't there a black female elected as mayor of a Louisiana town who became the most corrupt mayor in that town's history...and didn't she run to root out corruption.

Its a town of like 700 people...I don't know why they need 9 cops anyway, haha. I think its laughable.

That's not at all apparent. It is also not apparent that Parma needs 6 police officers. Probably one is fine.
